Electronic Access Control starts at a stand-alone single door installation that allows selective access to a secure area, to a multi-site corporate-wide enterprise solution with central administration.

Access Control can be managed by:

  • Electronic Keypad
  • Proximity card reader
  • Fingerprint ID
  • Palm print
  • Retina scan
  • Phone app
  • Temperature sensing
  • RF Fob for wireless activation
  • In-ground sensors
  • Smartcards

Door access is administered through user software which is used to manage access groups, time schedules, holiday periods, contractor and visitor access. The application software can be presented as a series of floor plans with dynamic graphic icons enabling door control at the click of a mouse button.

All activity throughout the access control system is recorded for reporting purposes. User details, timestamps, the direction of travel, lift access and floor selection for example.

While an Access Control system performs (as the name implies) control of people and equipment access – the system can perform security functions that incorporate alarms for breached or invertedly open doors, personal Duress and suspicious movement. The incorporated software supports transaction monitoring that can provide comprehensive analysis information to illustrate all activity on site… 24 hours a day.
